As an existing BrickSeek Premium or Extreme you may be quite familiar with our previous feature called Today's Markdowns. That page was very focused on what items were being marked down in some stores across the country but didn't provide information that was specifically relevant to you as a member because there wasn't any indication if that deal was actually available locally to you, which then required you to do manual inventory searches over and over again to find deals that were actually available in your stores.
Welcome to the new Today's Deals filter! All all-new Deals page is more powerful than ever and it's focused specifically on deals for you that are actually available in your local My Stores. Rather than using multiple separate features multiple times per day to find deals, we have merged these features in to the Deals page to make it easier than ever to use and find savings. With the Deals page filtered to only show you the deals marked down within the last 24 hours you are now seeing the Today's Deals that are available in your My Stores. No more endless manual inventory checking, our system is doing the work for you and only showing you the information that is relevant to you.
For a limited time, we will include a direct link within the website's Members Area dropdown menu to access the Today's Markdowns page. However, to access this in the future you will go directly to the Deals page and then apply the "24 hours" timeframe filter or you can use the link from the Deals menu dropdown.
Now that you’re viewing the page, you’ll notice each deal is located in its own tile. The tile includes the name of the item; the price of the item and how much you are saving compared to the typical price that our system has detected it usually sells for; the type of deal and which retailer it was detected at; how long ago that deal was detected by the system, and we'll also include the MSRP when it's reported to us by the retailer. We don't use the MSRP anymore for determining if something is a deal or not, they're too often incorrect and easily manipulated by third party sellers so instead we focus on the typical price for determining deals which is much more accurate and based on actual pricing data from the retailers. You also now have two buttons at the bottom of the deal tile to give you the ability to add items to your Shopping List and see the current Offers with ease.
Now that you’re getting familiar with the Today’s Markdowns page, it’s time to scroll through these deals to find items that interest you and to check their price and availability near you. When you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, you will see how many deals are currently being displayed; and you’ll have the option to navigate to the next page, previous page, or to manually input a page number.
You’ll also see product filters on the left column of this page that will allow you to filter and sort the deals. For example, if you previously saw a deal on a Crayola product on one of these pages and want to find it again, you can apply a Brand filter on the left column to filter the page to display only deals on Crayola products.
