BrickSeek Deal Alerts

One of our best new BrickSeek One membership features, our powerful BrickSeek Deal Alerts, is a great way for you to find savings on items without the hassle of constantly searching prices for them on your own. When you create a Deal Alert our system will monitor that item both online and in your local My Stores and notify you when we find a price that meets your selected criteria.

Creating Deal Alerts

Creating a BrickSeek Deal Alert is very easy thanks to our powerful new search engine that allows you to search for brands, categories, or keywords. Let's start of with an example of searching for Apple and selecting Apple Cell phones from the list of suggested results. Using the suggested searches will usually yield the best results.

Once you search for Apple Cell Phones we'll see a list of the best current deals for that brand and subcategory. On the left side panel we can configure filters to narrow down the criteria that we want for the new Deal Alert that we're going to create.

After configuring the settings, all we have to do is simply press the Add deal alert button to create the new Deal Alert with our preferred criteria. To modify or update this Deal Alert, simply change the filter settings and then hit the button again to update the alert criteria.

Viewing or Modifying Deal Alerts

One of the great new features of our Deal Alerts is that you can view them at any time to see the best current offers for the items you are looking to save money on. You can also quickly and easily modify the Deal Alert settings as well.

To view or modify your Deal Alerts, hover over your profile icon and then select Deal Alerts from the dropdown menu.

From the Deal Alerts menu you can quickly view the best current deals for an alert, edit the Deal Alert sensitivity setting, or delete an alert entirely. You can also view your most recently received Deal Alerts by clicking the View Deal Alerts button or by clicking the Deal Alert Notification icon in the upper corner of the website at any time.

Deal Alerts Helpful Information

BrickSeek Deal Alerts can be as specific or generic as you choose. If you are looking for a deal on any Apple products, you can create a Deal Alert on the brand itself. You can also create them for specific categories or subcategories that you choose. They allow you to create them for specific deal types like online, in your local My Stores, Amazon Warehouse finds, or all of them.

For the Alert Sensitivity option you have the options of Good Deals, Great Deals, and Amazing Deals.

  • Good Deals - these alerts include more common prices on the item but still a good time to buy if you’re in need of the item. You’re likely to see plenty of these Deal Alert notifications.
  • Great Deals - these alerts are for prices that are better than normal and a bit more rare to see. You won’t see quite as many Deal Alert notifications with this setting but they’ll help filter out common sales.
  • Amazing Deals - these are much more rare opportunities to save on these items as the price is well below normal and often the lowest prices we’ve ever seen for the item. These Deal Alert notifications won’t come in as often but when they do they’ll have your attention!

Receiving a Deal Alert

Once our system detects a deal that meets the criteria that you set when you created the Deal Alert, it will send you an email, BrickSeek app notification, and a site notification to you to inform you of the deal. As mentioned above, the amount of Deal Alerts that you receive may vary based on the sensitivity and criteria of the Deal Alert that you created. If you are receiving too many alerts for something, try narrowing down the filters to be more specific or change the Deal Alert sensitivity to be more picky.
