The (first two) Walmart Black Friday Ads Have Dropped!

The Walmart Black Friday ad is always highly anticipated each year, due to their steep discounts and amazing doorbuster deals. In recent years, Walmart has been pushing more of its Black Friday deals online; and this year will be their biggest online offering to date, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Walmart has joined other brick-and-mortar retailers like Target and Best Buy and announced that their stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. All Walmart stores will be open the next day on Black Friday; and just like in years past, you can expect to see great deals at that time. But this year, Walmart is also holding three separate “Black Friday Deals for Days” events in the weeks leading up to the actual Black Friday holiday, offering almost a full month of amazing deals and discounts.

The first Black Friday Deals for Days sale begins online at Walmart.com on November 4 at 7PM EST. In-store deals will become available a few days later on November 7, starting at 5AM local time. According to Walmart’s announcement, “This reinvented Black Friday experience will offer customers the retailer’s best prices of the season on the most sought-after items on 2020 holiday wish lists during three separate savings events across the month of November. Each savings event will begin online at Walmart.com and continue in Walmart stores. And new this year, customers will have the option to pick up their online Black Friday order through Walmart’s contact-free curbside pickup service.”

The second Black Friday Deals for Days event starts online at Walmart.com at 7PM EST on November 11. Additional online deals will be introduced on November 14 at midnight EST, with new in-store deals dropping at 5AM local time.

The third event begins online on November 25 at 7PM EST. It will then merge into Walmart’s official Black Friday offerings on the holiday itself, November 27. Online deals will become available at midnight EST and in-store at 5AM local time. (We’re still waiting to get a sneak peek at the ad for this third Black Friday event.)

So far, we’ve seen some great deals, including 50% off Instant Pots, $99 AirPods (Gen 2), and a 55” TCL television for only $148!

Make sure to keep up with all of the Black Friday deals this holiday season by bookmarking out Black Friday page and checking it often for the latest best deals!

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
